It's much better that way since your might want to "stop and smell the roses or maybe take some pictures along the way. Haleakala National Park is Maui's main natural attraction. Just going up the mountain is quite an experience, let alone biking down! We do a van tour of the park and put you on the bikes at the park entrance. What lies before you is Maui's famous downhill. You drop 3,000' in 10 miles and curve around 29 switch backs. Stop often and enjoy the incredible vistas of west Maui surrounded by the Pacific. Below 4,000' you come to "upcountry Maui". There are plenty of shops, and wonderful places to eat where you can stop and enjoy a leisurely meal. This is another experience that you won't get anywhere else but on Maui. Remember, just have fun!
