Bucharest: City Energy and Group Kickoff
We'd open the trip with about 3 nights in Bucharest. This is where the group meets, settles in, and gets comfortable together before we head into the countryside. Expect a walking tour of the old town, a group welcome dinner, and time to explore Bucharest's mix of grand boulevards and gritty, interesting side streets.
Transylvania: Castles, Bran, and Brasov
From Bucharest, we'd move into Transylvania for around 4 nights based in or near Brasov. This is the heart of the trip. Brasov is a beautiful mountain city with a walkable old center, and it's close enough to Bran Castle for an easy day trip. Four nights here gives the group real time to explore, rather than rushing in and out.
Sighisoara and the Carpathian Countryside
To close out the touring portion, we'd add 2 to 3 nights around Sighisoara and the Carpathian countryside. Sighisoara is one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe. The surrounding countryside is where we'd fit in village visits and slower, scenic days before wrapping the trip.
