This
is a unique itinerary combining our many years of visiting Croatia
on a number of different trips to give you a wonderful 10-day
trip that will take you to some of the most beautiful and interesting
places in this fastinating country.
SPLIT
Wednesday,
September 15th: Arrive in Split
Split
is not only an urban, cultural and traffic center of Dalmatia
with road and sea connections to Dalmatia’s numerous summer resorts,
but a city with 1700-year old tradition, a variety of archeological,
historical and cultural monuments and the warmth of a modern Mediterranean
town. We'll take an afternoon guided tour
Split, visiting Diocletian's Palace basements (on the UNESCO’s
World Heritage List) with the Peristyle, Jupiter's Temple and
Cathedral.
Thursday, September 16th:
Blue Lagoon & 3 Islands Cruise with Lunch,
Wine & Swim from Split
Discover the natural lagoons, white-sand beaches,
and traditional Dalmatian villages of Split’s islands on
this full-day cruise. Visit three islands, swim and snorkel at
the Blue Lagoon of Veli Drvenik Island, and enjoy a freshly prepared
lunch with beef, tuna, or vegetarian burger and wine served onboard.
Start with coffee and donuts on the boat, then admire views of

Friday, September 17th:
Krka Waterfalls Tour from Split with Boat Ride and Swimming
Explore Krka
National Park and Skradin with ease on this optional tour.
Depart from Split in an air-conditioned vehicle and learn about
the area from your driver-guide. Continue on to Krka and travel
through the park taking time to admire the waterfalls, old mills,
and traditional architecture. Visit the Ethno village to learn
about Skradinski Buk's history and biodiversity. Then, enjoy a
boat ride to Skradin, where you can explore the marina's rich
history or relax and swim at the beach.
Skradinski
Buk is one of Croatia’s natural treasures and is the longest
and most impressive waterfall on the Krka River. Here your licensed
guide will take you on a 30 minutes tour of this stunning cascading
waterfall, the centuries old water mills, rolling mills and washing
columns where you will see the traditional folk architecture.
From there it’s off to the “Golden Flower of Europe
award” an award-winning Ethno village to learn about the
history of Skradinski Buk. In addition, your guide will show you
the rich diversity of the Flora, 1022 recorded species, and the
endemic, rare and threatened fauna of Krka National Park.
There is nothing
quite like meandering down a quiet river taking in the picturesque
surrounds of the Krka National Park. Here you will get the chance
to do so. The beauty of the Krka River is best seen from a boat
with uninterrupted views. Along the way keep any eye out for the
local swans, beautiful scenery, all set in a pristine natural
environment. It’s the perfect time to sit back and reflect
on your incredible day.

Saturday,
September 18th
Today we take the 1-hour ferry
to the island of Hvar
Now
we're off to the island of Hvar, located just 2 hours off the
coast. Hvar has been described as "the Mediterranean
as it used to be", "Spain as it was 15 years
ago" and an "unspoiled island". The Island's attractions
include spectacular limestone hills, nice beaches, fields of
scented lavender, caves, sheltered bays, woodlands, picturesque
villages, mosaic-patterned olive gloves and vineyards
clinging to hillsides, views over the surrounding islands and
mountain forests. Moreover, these attractions have not been destroyed
by rampant high-rise tourism. Plus, there's an incredible variety

to get pumped up. We'll arrange hiking, sailing and kayaking.
HvarTown also has a reputation as a "party town" with
"a lot of beautiful, stylish people having a great time"
and is popular amongst the Croatian "in-crowd" and Italian
visitors. If you enjoyed Mykonos and Santorini, you're sure to
enjoy Hvar. We'll spend 3-nights on this incredible island.
Sunday,
September 19th
Bus tour with visits to several towns,
wine tasting and lunch at private estate
Morning departure by bus and local guide towards Vrbovska
and Jelsa, two charming little towns on the northern part of the
island, founded in the 14-16th century. In Vrbovska we will visit
the church of St. Lawrence with one of the finest collections
of Renaissance art on the island and Fishermen Museum.
Continuing through
Hvar's lavender fields we will arrive to village Vrisnik to have
wine tasting of local red and white wines and lunch that will
include ham and cheese with meat and potatoes baked on traditional
way under the iron bell. This tour is included
Monday, September 20th
Blue Cave, Blue Lagoon, Pakleni
Islands Group boat tour from Hvar
Today we'll
enjoy this optional boat excursion for an unforgettable
voyage through the breathtaking beaches and bays of Pakleni Island,
Hvar, and the renowned Blue & Green Cave on Vis. Dive into
pristine waters for swimming and snorkeling, then unwind at beach
bars and restaurants. With our expert skippers, luxurious comfort,
and vibrant music, experience the sea like never before. Swim
in Green Cave- Island of Ravnik - The emerald green color comes
from the sun reflecting on the stones covered with seaweed at
the bottom of the cave. We'll stop at the hidden lagoon, where
you can enjoy swimming among the breath-taking cliffs of the lagoon.
Stiniva is the most beautiful beach in Europe for 2016. We will
anchor the boat near the entrance and you can enter Stiniva by
swimming (20 m) or with a small rubber boat. Stiniva is great
for swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing, or if you prefer you
can have a drink and relax at the beach bar. After reaching Biševo
(Blue Cave island) we will disembark from our speedboat and skipper
will show you where to buy tickets for entering in Blue Cave.
The Blue Cave’s shuttlecraft will take you directly inside.
In the cave you will spend about 15 minutes and you are allowed
to take pictures and videos to capture the phenomenon of blue
reflecting sea and silver shine on the other objects. Budikovac
Island is called Blue lagoon and is protected from winds by smaller
islands Mali Budikovac and Sanak located just outside the main
beach. There is a beautiful pebble beach in the lagoon. Turquoise
colour and clearness of the sea makes this place unique! We will
take you to the famous bay of Vinogradišce or Palmižana
where you can enjoy swimming and sunbathing. You will have time
for lunch in one of great restaurants (Zori, Toto's, Bacchus..)or
to have some cocktails in popular Laganini beach bar.
Tuesday, September 21st
FREE DAY. There
is so much to do and see on Hvar that you will enjoy your day
of no tours. Enjoy a walk, shop or even rent a car or scooter.

DUBROVNIK
Wednesday,
September 22nd: Ferry to Dubrovnik
Today
we'll continue our Croatia trip, first with this 3-hour and 20-minute
ferry ride to Dubrovnik.
Discover
the best of Dubrovnik on a combined tour of Dubrovnik's Old Town
and ancient city walls. With your local guide, explore Dubrovnik's
Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and see Orlando's Column,
the City Bell Tower, the Rector's Palace and the Church of St
Blaise. Then, explore the city ancient walls and see Fort
Revelin and Minceta Tower. We will
spend 3-nights here giving us plenty of time for a full day to
explore the city and other tours. After our arrival we'll transfer
to our hotel and the rest of the day is at your leisure.
Thursday,
September 23rd: Guided
tour of Dubrovnik
Today
we'll enjoy a morning walking tour of the walled city of Dubronik.
After the tour enjoy free time. Perhaps you'd like to walk the
wall? Another option for your afternoon is to walk over to the
cable car for a ride up to Srd Hill. The best views of Dubrovnik
and the surrounding area are, without doubt, experienced from
the top of the Srd Hill. The Dubrovnik Cable Car was built back
in 1969 and was enthusiastically used by millions of visitors
who wanted to enjoy the most beautiful panoramic views. On a clear
day, you can see up to 60 km (37 miles). For this reason the neighbouring
Imperial Fortress was strategically built on this privileged spot,
back in the early 19th century. Have a drink, snack or a meal
at the snack bar or in the restaurant overlooking the Old City.
Go on an adventurous ride with the Buggy Safari tour. Visit the
souvenir shop, the Ohrid pearl shop or the coin blacksmithing

September 24th: Full-Day
Elaphite Islands Cruise from Dubrovnik with Lunch
Take
a cruise journey out to the Elaphite Islands with this optional
full-day cruise, which includes round-trip transportation from
Dubrovnik hotels as well as a fish, chicken, or vegetarian lunch
served with local wine. You'll visit the islands of Kolocep, Sipan,
and Lopud, with free time at each spot to swim, sightsee, or just
relax.
Kolocep Island: Start your day by immersing yourself in Kolocep’s
natural beauty, known for its dense pine forests and hidden caves.
Take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear Adriatic waters, or
bring your snorkeling gear to explore the vibrant underwater world.

Sipan Next, we head to Šipan, where you’ll be served

flavors. Explore the charming village with its traditional architecture,

Lopud Island: Finally, we arrive at Lopud, where you can bask
on the golden sands of Šunj Beach. You can also explore the
island by bike (rentals available on the island), discover hidden
bays, or visit historic landmarks like the Franciscan Monastery.
Don’t miss the Sunlight Museum, open during the high season,
or the Botanical Garden, which offers free entry. The charming
harbor village of Lopud is also home to shops, cafes, and ice
cream stands where you can relax and enjoy a refreshing treat.
Sunj Beach: Sunj Beach offers shallow, family-friendly waters.
Šunj is about a 30-minute walk through the island’s
stunning natural surroundings, or if you prefer quicker access,
you can take a buggy car offered by local drivers, located just
200 meters from the bay.

goodbye to Croatia unless you decide to continue your journey
